Accomplished leaders
You have reached the top of a corporate or business world. The existing game still matters, but so does the dream, legacy or unconventional project that no longer lets you look away.
Private Advisory
A confidential relationship for the next game level.
Private Advisory is for accomplished people who have reached one level of success and still have the desire, energy and courage to create the next.
Read the values“No tree, it is said, can grow to heaven unless its roots reach down to hell.”
A note before we begin
Words are precious. The ones below describe how I see freedom, achievement, creation, love and the second half of life. They are here so you can decide whether there is enough shared ground for us to think together.
Private Advisory is not about escaping an existing life. It is about seeing beyond its current frame — and creating what comes next without carelessly losing what already matters.
Who this is for
01
You have reached the top of a corporate or business world. The existing game still matters, but so does the dream, legacy or unconventional project that no longer lets you look away.
02
You are moving towards the top and know that the next level will require a broader mind, a more original strategy and solutions that are not visible from inside the usual rules.
03
You have built authority in demanding environments and now want success to include creativity, intimacy, femininity on your own terms, self-love and a life that feels fully yours.
The values
01
Freedom is not having no constraints. It is knowing what is yours to choose.
Geography, money, status and social expectations can all narrow a life. So can the private rules we stop noticing: what a successful person should want, what is too late, what would disappoint others.
I built my own freedom through international moves, citizenship, independent work, travel and exposure to different cultures. The deeper work is internal: seeing a choice clearly, accepting its consequences and taking responsibility for making it.
Where are you still asking for permission?
02
Mastery improves what exists. Creation brings something into the world that was not there before.
Achievement teaches us to become excellent at a known game. There is another human capacity beyond achievement: imagining a different game, giving it form and inviting other people into it.
Creation is not reserved for artists or the independently wealthy. It begins with enoughness — the moment proving gives way to making. A company, a book, an institution, a relationship or a new way of living can all become creative work.
What wants to exist because you were here?
03
Your most valuable contribution may be the one that cannot be benchmarked.
Genius is not about winning the same competition by a larger margin. It is the singular pattern formed by your talent, experience, taste, contradictions and way of seeing.
The work is to decipher that pattern and give it a form other people can encounter. Being legendary, in this sense, is not celebrity. It is making something distinct and useful enough to remain meaningful beyond the moment of its creation.
What do you see that your peers consistently miss?
04
Socially successful. Spiritually developing.
There comes a point when external achievement has done enough of its job. Status, responsibility and financial strength remain valuable, but the ego no longer needs every decision to prove its worth.
That creates room for the inner life: mind, heart, soul, curiosity and quiet. Social success is broader than money, and spiritual development is broader than belief. Together they allow ambition to become calmer, freer and more creative.
If you had nothing left to prove, what would become possible?
05
I do not fight the system. I create alternatives.
A rebel is not simply oppositional. The more useful rebellion is the ability to notice a conditioned reaction — compliance, fear, prestige, certainty — and choose a response instead.
You do not need to destroy a system that still works for you. You can question its assumptions, keep what is valuable and build an alternative beside it. That is often more courageous, and far more effective, than permanent resistance.
Which rule have you outgrown without admitting it?
06
A successful life should still be a life you can feel.
The foam on a cappuccino. Sunlight on a wall. Shells gathered on a beach and the memory held inside them. These are not distractions from an important life; they are evidence that we are present for it.
The opposite of survival is not indulgence. It is aliveness — the ability to notice, enjoy and give attention. Art de vivre asks whether your success has increased your capacity to experience life, or quietly reduced it.
What becomes visible when you stop rushing past it?
07
Direction matters more than force.
In golf, a powerful swing in the wrong direction only takes the ball further away. Life is similar. More discipline cannot correct a goal that was borrowed, misunderstood or chosen for an earlier version of you.
Alignment brings thoughts, words, feelings and actions onto the same line. It requires understanding who you are now, what you actually want and which inherited ambitions can be released. Then energy stops leaking into contradiction.
Where is effort compensating for a lack of direction?
08
The current reality is real. It is rarely the only one available.
Every consequential choice opens one future and closes another. Most people keep refining the reality they already know because an alternative feels too disruptive to consider seriously.
You may not need to abandon what you built. You can step aside from its assumptions, test another possibility and construct it deliberately. A parallel project or a different rhythm can begin quietly before it becomes a new centre of gravity.
What alternative would you explore if it did not have to replace everything?
09
The second half of life can hold decades of serious creation.
A long horizon changes the question. Instead of treating energy and health as support functions for work, we begin to see the body and mind as part of the work itself.
Longevity here is not a promise or a prescription. It is a practice of attention: evidence-informed care, sustainable habits, recovery, curiosity and the capacity to keep enjoying what you create. The aim is not merely more years, but more life inside them.
What would you build differently with a thirty-year horizon?
10
Achievement does not remove the need to love and be loved.
Later life can loosen the roles that once organised us: provider, performer, perfect partner, responsible child. That freedom makes room for intimacy with less theatre and more truth.
For some people, masculine and feminine polarity is a meaningful lens for desire and relationship; it is not the only one. The deeper questions are universal: Can you be present? Can you receive? Can success coexist with tenderness, joy and genuine partnership?
What kind of love can the person you are becoming sustain?
11
Legacy is the part of your life that keeps creating value without your presence.
Money and family may be part of it, but legacy can take many forms: an institution, a book, a technology, a film festival, a restaurant, a cultural space or a way of thinking that changes other lives.
It does not need to be monumental. It needs to be yours — shaped by your experience, animated by your values and built carefully enough to outlive your direct involvement.
What should continue because you chose to begin it?
“In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.”
How it works
Our work can include private voice or written exchanges, phone or Zoom conversations, in-person meetings and close observation of a live project. When useful and appropriate, it may include an immersive day or travel. The format follows the reality of the work.
Enough closeness to understand the whole context, not only the version prepared for a meeting.
A relationship that carries insight across decisions, seasons and the long arc of a project.
An independent perspective with no political stake in the answer and no reason to flatter you.
Business, identity, relationships, energy and ambition considered as one connected system.
A private space for unfinished ideas, difficult truths and decisions that cannot be discussed widely.
What might emerge
These are territories, not promises or packaged outcomes. The point is to discover the form that belongs to you.
The relationship is highly confidential and intentionally limited so the work can remain personal, responsive and substantial.
The first step
Tell me what you have built, what ambition keeps returning and where another mind beside yours could change the field.
